Privacy policy

We collect three categories of information, each for a specific reason:

Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, we receive your name, email address, company, and message. We use it to respond to you and, if you’ve asked about working together, to continue that conversation. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, or your consent where required.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and time on site. We use it to keep the site secure, understand how it’s used, and improve it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

Information from cookies and tracking technologies. Detailed in the next section. We use it for analytics and, through the LinkedIn Insight Tag, for advertising measurement and audience insights. Legal basis: your consent where required by law, and otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding and reaching our professional audience.

We do not collect sensitive personal information through this site — no health data, no financial account data, no government identifiers. We built the site not to need them.

Four services set cookies or similar technologies on this site:

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site works without them; the contact form may not.

Every use maps to one of these purposes: responding to your inquiries and managing business relationships; operating, securing, and improving the site; understanding our audience in aggregate; measuring and delivering advertising on LinkedIn; and complying with legal obligations.

Three things we do not do. We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold it in the preceding 12 months. We do not use your information for automated decision-making. We do not send marketing email to people who haven’t asked for it.

Your information is shared only with the service providers named in this policy, who process it on our behalf under their own contractual and legal obligations, and with LinkedIn as described above. Beyond that, we would disclose personal information only to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our rights, or protect the safety of any person — and only to the extent required.

If JXT is ever part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy would continue to govern it until you’re notified otherwise.

We’re based in the United States, and information collected through this site is processed in the United States. If you’re visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data transfer restrictions, understand that U.S. law may not provide the same protections as your local law. Our service providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.

Contact form submissions and business correspondence: as long as the relationship or conversation is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for business records. Analytics data: per the retention settings of each provider, which we configure to the shortest period that serves the purpose. When information no longer serves the purpose it was collected for, we delete it.

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights: to know what personal information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to receive it in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@jxtcollective.com. We’ll verify your identity and respond within 30 days — sooner where the law requires it. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

California residents: the rights above include your rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is no need for a “Do Not Sell or Share” mechanism — but the rights to know, delete, and correct apply in full.

EEA and UK residents: the rights above include your rights under the GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, though we’d ask you to contact us first so we can resolve it directly.

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There’s no industry standard for honoring them, so like most sites, we don’t respond to them — but the opt-outs described in this policy work regardless.

We protect the information we hold through reasonable administrative and technical measures, and we work only with providers who maintain their own security programs. The most honest thing we can tell you about security is this: the best protection is collecting less. We collect only what we need, and this site is built to need very little.

This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we’ll delete it.

This site links to other websites, including our social channels and the privacy policies above. Those sites operate under their own policies, and we’re not responsible for their practices.

When this policy changes, we’ll update it here and revise the date at the top. If a change is material — something that affects your rights or how your information is used — we’ll say so plainly at the top of the page.
